7 of Dubai’s biggest attractions and experiences are returning this week

Dubai’s outdoor season is shifting into gear, with several major family attractions and weekend favourites returning over the next few days. From Hollywood-inspired rollercoasters and LEGO adventures to millions of flowers, an outdoor community market and a one-night waterpark party, there is plenty to put back on the calendar.

Most of the action falls between October 7 and 10, making this one of the busiest reopening weeks of Dubai’s new season.

Dubai Miracle Garden returns on October 8 after its annual summer closure.

The 72,000-square-metre outdoor attraction is known for enormous floral installations created using more than 150 million blooms each season. Familiar highlights include the Emirates A380 installation, heart-shaped walkways, floral structures and the colourful Umbrella Passage.

The garden is currently scheduled to operate daily from 9 am to 9 pm, with standard tickets starting from AED 100.

Rollercoasters and movie-inspired adventures return when MOTIONGATE Dubai reopens on October 7 as part of the wider Dubai Parks and Resorts seasonal comeback.

The Hollywood-themed park brings together worlds inspired by DreamWorks Animation, Columbia Pictures and Lionsgate, with attractions ranging from Madagascar Mad Pursuit and Dragon Gliders to The Hunger Games – Capitol Bullet Train.

There are 29 rides and attractions across the park, so it remains one of the biggest options for families and thrill-seekers heading back outdoors this season.

LEGOLAND Dubai also starts its new season on October 7, with more than 40 rides and attractions aimed primarily at families with children.

One of the headline additions is a new sound-and-light show at MINILAND, the indoor area built using millions of LEGO bricks and featuring miniature versions of landmarks from Dubai and around the region.

Halloween celebrations are also beginning with the new season, adding themed activities to the regular mix of rides, building experiences and family entertainment.

LEGOLAND Water Park is part of the wider resort experience and offers more than 20 slides and water attractions designed for families with younger children.

Football fans are getting their theme park back too.

Real Madrid World reopens on October 7 with more than 40 rides, attractions and experiences inspired by the Spanish football club.

Highlights include the Hala Madrid Coaster, the 140-metre-high Stars Flyer, interactive football activities and the Bernabéu Experience, which recreates elements associated with Real Madrid’s famous stadium and sporting history.

Current admission starts from AED 295, with selected Riverland attractions included in certain ticket packages.

5) The World of Riverland

Riverland is also returning alongside the rest of Dubai Parks and Resorts, but there are a couple of new reasons to visit this season.

A new bowling experience and Lamborghini Automobili racing simulators are joining a line-up that already includes go-karting, archery, axe throwing, mini golf, arcade entertainment and puzzle-based attractions.

The destination is divided into themed areas including the French Village, Boardwalk and The Peninsula, with restaurants and cafés making it possible to visit without committing to an entire theme-park day.

Entry currently starts from AED 25.

Dubai’s popular outdoor weekend market returns to Academy Park on October 10 for its 15th season.

The Ripe Market brings together UAE farmers, artisan makers, independent brands and homegrown food concepts, with stalls covering everything from fresh produce and fashion to jewellery, gifts and handmade products.

It is also designed as more than a shopping market. The new season will include live entertainment, wellness sessions, sports and children’s activities, alongside community activations involving Dubai Police.

The market is scheduled to run every Saturday and Sunday through May 2, 2027.

7) Aquaventure After Dark

Aquaventure itself operates throughout the year, so this one is slightly different: what is returning is the waterpark’s special After Dark event.

For one night only on October 9, Aquaventure World will stay open from 8 pm until midnight, turning the waterpark into an after-hours music and entertainment experience.

Guests will have access to more than 105 slides, rides and attractions, alongside DJs, live entertainment, challenges and different music zones spread across the park.

The event is for guests aged 13 and above. Current tickets start from AED 249, with separate rates available for eligible annual and season pass holders.
