Dubai is set to add another major attraction to its entertainment scene, with a brand-new waterpark expected to open within the next few months at Dubai Parks and Resorts.
The upcoming attraction was announced by Fernando Eiroa, CEO of Dubai Holding Entertainment, during the Rise summit in Dubai on October 14, 2026. He confirmed that the new waterpark is being developed specifically with the summer season in mind.
However, several key details are still under wraps. The attraction’s official name, exact opening date, rides, slides, ticket prices, and operating hours have not yet been announced.
Where: Dubai Parks and Resorts, Dubai
Opening: Expected within the next few months
Exact opening date: Not yet announced
A new waterpark is coming to Dubai Parks and Resorts.
The new waterpark will join the entertainment portfolio at Dubai Parks and Resorts, giving visitors another water-focused attraction alongside the destination’s existing theme parks and leisure experiences.
Eiroa said the attraction is intended particularly for summer, when demand for water-based activities rises in Dubai.
For now, Dubai Holding Entertainment has not released a detailed list of what the waterpark will contain. That means information about individual slides, pools, children’s areas, restaurants and other facilities remains TBC.

What we know about the new Dubai waterpark
The project is confirmed as a new waterpark within the Dubai Parks and Resorts portfolio, but its launch remains some months away.
There is currently no confirmed public opening date, so visitors should not treat a specific day or month as final until the operator announces it.
The attraction is also separate from LEGOLAND Water Park, which is already part of Dubai Parks and Resorts. The new project will therefore expand the destination’s water-based offering rather than simply rebrand its existing waterpark.
Details about the new attraction are expected to become clearer as the launch approaches.
Dubai Parks and Resorts has reopened for the 2026-27 season
The announcement comes shortly after Dubai Parks and Resorts reopened on October 7, 2026, following an extended seasonal closure.
The destination returned with refreshed attractions and new experiences across its entertainment portfolio.
The World of RIVERLAND now features 14 attractions, including new bowling experiences and Lamborghini racing simulators. Other improvements include an expanded go-kart experience and new dining options, while MOTIONGATE Dubai has introduced new entertainment for the season.
