8 exciting things to do in Dubai this week

Dubai has plenty happening this week, whether you are looking for somewhere different to eat, an activity after work or a relaxing way to spend the afternoon. From October 26 to November 1, 2026, the city’s calendar brings together new restaurant menus, a recently launched glass observation experience, a painting workshop and special one-night events.

There are options for different budgets too, including a weekday Indian lunch for Dhs145, a Caribbean-inspired dinner deal and an evening of art and wellness at Expo City Dubai.

Here are eight experiences to add to your Dubai plans this week.

Dubai’s skyline looks different when you can see it through the floor beneath your feet.

The View at Palm Jumeirah has introduced The Ledge, a new experience featuring eight transparent platforms that extend 1.5 metres beyond the observation deck.

Four platforms face the Palm’s distinctive fronds and the Arabian Gulf, while the remaining four look towards Dubai’s towers. Standing 240 metres above ground, visitors can enjoy the panoramic scenery or look directly down through the glass.

Launched to mark the attraction’s fifth anniversary, the experience is included with general admission, making it an interesting addition to a sightseeing day.
