What are Raid Tier Sets in Midnight Season 1

Additionally, March on Quel’danas can drop a Chiming Void Curio, which can be exchanged for a class-appropriate tier set piece from an NPC in Silvermoon Сity.
Additionally, if you have Catalyst charges, you can flip your dungeon armor pieces, starting from the Champion tier, into a raid set piece that matches the item slot.
Great Vault Gearing in Midnight Season 1
WoW has a useful feature that can earn you bonus gear – The Great Vault. But on the other hand, instead of the required item, you could get absolutely any other item that’s in the reward pool. This means that if you want a Myth-quality item from Magister’s Terrace, it’s best to farm only that dungeon to narrow down the pool of items you can get from the Great Vault and aim for the one gear piece you want. A reward from the Great Vault can only be received once a week on the server reset day.
How to Upgrade Equipment in Midnight Season 1
To increase the level of an item in Midnight Season 1 within its gear track, you will need the corresponding Dawncrests. To increase the rank of an item, you will need the following number of crests:
- Rank 2/6 – 10 (Gear Track) Dawncrests;
- Rank 3/6 – 20 (Gear Track) Dawncrests;
- Rank 4/6 – 30 (Gear Track) Dawncrests;
- Rank 5/6 – 40 (Gear Track) Dawncrests;
- Rank 6/6 – 50 (Gear Track) Dawncrests.
Leveling up gear from Midnight Season 1 only requires Dawncrests and a small amount of gold, and no longer requires items like Valorstones. As with gear, different Dawncrests drop from different difficulty levels of activities. Here’s the list, where you can get them:
- Adventurer Dawncrest (ilvl 220-237): Repeatable outdoor events, tier 4 Delves, Heroic difficulty dungeons.
- Veteran Dawncrest (ilvl 233-250): Heroic seasonal dungeons, Raid Finder difficulty raids, tiers 5-6 Delves.
- Champion Dawncrest (ilvl 246-263): Mythic+ dungeons (from 2 to 3 key levels), Normal difficulty raids, tiers 7-10 Delves.
- Hero Dawncrest (ilvl 259-276): Heroic difficulty raids, Mythic+ dungeons (from 4 to 8 key levels).
- Myth Dawncrest (ilvl 272-289): Mythic difficulty raids, Mythic+ dungeons from 9+ and higher.
After your Hero and Myth items reach the maximum rank of 6/6, you can use Ascendant Voidcores to add additional ilvls. For example, using Ascendant Voidcores on a 6/6 Myth item will give you an Ascendant Voidforged Myth item at ilvl 298.
In addition to leveling up an item with crests, you can use enchants, which are crafted by the Enchanter profession and can be found on the auction house. Enchants are permanent, meaning they don’t disappear after death, and provide useful passive bonuses for your character. You can also insert gems into sockets on your gear, it will provide additional base stats. Both enchants and gems have different quality tiers, from 1 to 3, and the higher the quality, the higher the stat they provide.
Where to Get PvP Gear in Midnight Season 1
For PvP activities like Battlegrounds and Arenas, you’ll need dedicated, suitable gear. This armor can be purchased from PvP vendors using Honor and Conquest Points. Even if you have a maxed-out Myth set at ilvl 289, PvE armor won’t help you in PvP content, as its level will be automatically scaled down.
For a more comfortable experience in Arenas and Battlegrounds, you’ll need Honor, Conquest, or Warmode gear purchased with the corresponding PvP tokens. This armor is significantly lower in level in PvE content than the one you can obtain from raids, but within Arenas, for example, the Conquest armor set scales up to ilvl 289. Here is a list of armor that you can use in PvP:
- 276 ilvl Honor Gear: Bought with Honor points. Good gear if you want to participate in non-rated PvP
- 276 ilvl Warmode Gear: Bought with Bloody tokens. Good only for world PvP and duels, as Warmode gear’s set bonus doesn’t work in Arenas and BGs
- 289 ilvl Conquest Gear: Bought with Conquest points. The best PvP gear you can obtain; choose this full set if you’re planning to play ranked matches
Using Catalyst charges, you can turn a piece of PvP armor into a set piece. In addition to your chosen armor set, you can craft or order a piece of equipment with the stats you need, as the set bonus only scales from 2 and 4 pieces.
